5C Demonstrates their Creativity in Class
5C has been learning about the Stolen Generation, so we decided to try dot painting to understand a bit more about Aboriginal culture and history.
We looked at some images of traditional dot paintings and used the end of a paintbrush to copy the technique of the Aboriginal painters. We also used colours that represent the earthy ochres used in traditional dot paintings and we each chose an Australian animal for our individual artworks. It's been a lot of fun!
