Our extra-curricular highlights
STEM Opportunities
"Stages 2 & 3 took part in an exciting Engineers Without Borders workshop all about Engineering. We learned about eight different types of engineers we might become one day, like civil, mechanical, aerospace, biomedical, software, mechatronics, chemical, and electrical engineers. Working in teams, we completed projects such as building safety structures, coding programs to help during disasters, and designing prosthetic arms. We used different sustainable materials and had to work within a budget. Through planning, designing, testing, and checking our projects, we discovered how engineers help solve real problems and make a positive difference in the world."

Creative and performing arts
Our school offers a range of exciting programs including Wakakirri, Schoolaerobics, Dance and 100% Cheer groups, Ryde Schools' Performing Arts Festival, Festival of Instrumental Music, and choirs. These opportunities encourage teamwork, creativity, and excellence, providing students with opportunities to perform, develop new skills, and celebrate their talents in the arts.
Debating and public peaking
Students develop their thinking, communication, and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking activities. They participate in local and state competitions, including the prestigious Premiers Debating Challenge and Multicultural Speaking events. These programs help build confidence and critical thinking while celebrating diverse perspectives.
Competitive Sport
Our students develop physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship through a variety of sporting programs, including athletics, cross country, swimming carnivals, and PSSA competitions such as basketball and tennis gala days, as well as soccer, softball, netball, cricket, volleyball, and Tiger Tag. They have opportunities to compete at local, state, and national levels, supported by clear representative pathways that foster skill development and achievement. These experiences encourage a healthy lifestyle, community spirit, and lifelong wellbeing.
