On the 17 June, four students, Ashwin, Hayley, Tyler and Emily represented our school at the Northern Sydney Region Local Final which was held at Epping West Public School. Fourteen students from seven schools competed in each level (Stage 2 or Stage 3) of the competition. Each student was asked to present both a prepared speech which had a multicultural perspective as well as an impromptu speech. Only one student from each session was selected to progress to the Regional Final which will be held in Term 3, Weeks 4 and 5.
We are delighted to announce that two of our students, Ashwin and Emily won Stages 2 and 3 of the competition and will now progress to the Regional Final.
Congratulations to all the students for their hard work and a special thank you to Ms Johnson and the parents for their support in preparing the students for the competition.
