Stage 2 Science Experiments

Stage 2 students have been conducting lots of experiments in Science lessons.

Our classes did experiments with balloons and an empty can. We had to rub the balloon on our head to try and make the can move with the force of static electricity. We also had to make a slide using a bat or box lid and see at what height the various objects would slide down the ramp.

Jaiden B (3S) and Kyra (4D)

Professor Roberts taught us about friction. We experimented with alfoil, grease proof paper and sandpaper to see which ones had the most friction and the least friction. We learnt that there is less friction or resistance on a smooth surface.
